I use this as an American Football official for pregame meetings and clinics.

Love it BUT... Needs some instructions. I have watched utube link. Mine cannot resize players. Also need an undo button. If you erase a player, lets say number 2. You cannot ever get him back again. Not clear how to display names and numbers. Cannot go into players and select "number 5" Would be great to have a timer and as the game progresses you could record your substitutes and automatically record game time. Needs work buT great potential.

This is a great tool for the tech savvy coach. Love the way you can save and store pays. This might just get rid of the white board.

I think that I might have tried all of the coach apps at this point. This one is one of the better ones. One suggestion...could you add a Ringette ice surface? Thanks!

An "undo" button would help a lot, but otherwise great!

Just bought this app and so far works great. Would be 5 stars if you were able to share the drawings, especially if you could email PNG images that could eventually be printed (not ideal to drag my iPad to practices).

Im not a newbie to the coaching soccer. Ive been doing it for at least 5 years now. This year, for the first time, Im coaching 4 different teams in 4 different age groups (U09-U17). My experience has been in standard field soccer. This year Im working on Futsal (indoor soccer on hardwood). The format is new to many of the players & their parents. This is a house league and we have no practices, only games. So it is vital that I am able to effectively "coach up" the kids during the game. Since getting my ipad last year Ive been searching for a coaching tool that is quick, simple, and with some basic team management tools. I was surprised at how few apps seemed to fit the bill. CoachNote was the closest to what I was looking for. The whiteboard ability to show formations was deep enough to allow me to demonstrate position responsibilities and attach names & jersey numbers, without being overly complex. The ball attach feature is something so simple that Im surprised more apps dont use it. As well, the ability to import my team roster from a spreadsheet was really useful. I like the page/slide feature so that you can create either a "playbook" or instructional videos. Im working on a few videos to send out to the parents with hopes that if they understand, then they will more readily support what I am teaching. However, I wish there was a way to manipulate the slides. Insert, move, delete, etc. Adding text is easy and allows for a more legible playbook. It would be nice if I could create a text that would show up on every slide/page. On the whole, I like it. Im looking forward to future developments & updates.

The recording feature is great. However, there is a need for additional line types. As a hockey coach, i need a way to differentiate between a puck carrier and a skater. Skating backwards v. Skating forwards. There are accepted standard line types for these that would probably be simple to implement, but would add tremendous value. Right now i would not move to this app because it cannot serve my needs. However, give it multiple line types, then i would strongly consider it.

Once you take the time to really learn the little tricks to designing and saving plays and drills ... this app is probably the best out there. Couple suggestions for the designer. - It would be nice to have custom folders on the app that will allow you to separate sports and even further more separate offensive plays, defensive plays and practice drills. For me, Id like to separate my baseball plays from the ringette plays as they are are together in one location on the app right now. - It would be nice to password protect the plays that Ive designed so that there is no chance of me accidentally saving over a "good" play by accident. (which I have regrettably done a few times) - It would be nice to be able to design a play with or without audio recording and be able to email that play to all my players for review before attending practices. This application is actually really good as it is but I think the above suggestions would really knock it out of the park! I will also say that this app basically will cause you to consider ditching the old coaching white boards. Ver well thought out application. Nice work Coach Note!

I would like to have a capability to copy a page to change its content a bit.

Would be nice to be able to erase unwanted screens.

I really like this ap. I am an athletic director and coach and I find it is the best of its kind. I would like an undo, I would also like to be able to remove a player from the field/ delete. Otherwise very good
